As an Implementation Consultant your key responsibilities will include:-
To liaise with clients and third parties where appropriate as part of the transition of new business and migration of existing schemes.
Assist in the transfer of knowledge between the existing service provider and the ongoing office.
Implement system solutions that best meet business needs and requirements based upon a clear understanding captured using the relevant project documentation.
Assist in the creation of specifications for all functionality delivered, so the business have all deliverables clearly defined - including, but not limited to, mapping documents, calculation specifications etc.
Perform QA checks on developed routines, test packs, cases etc to ensure any functionality delivered is fit for purpose and performs as agreed in the specification.
Perform (and/or manage) delivered routines, test packs, cases etc to ensure all changes/enhancements have been through the relevant acceptance process to agreed timescales.
Identify and record issues throughout the implementation process, and work with the administration team to ensure they are resolved in a suitable manner.
QA and sign off documentation that meets both administration and client requirements, this will include scheme delivery note and scheme sign off.
Provide relevant information to Team Leader, escalating issues and queries where appropriate via line management.
To liaise with other areas of Business Systems to ensure the project requirements are delivered.
To identify potential improvements to the teams working practices and to be able to implement where appropriate.
Implement changes for existing clients via a helpdesk facility, ensuring all work is recorded using the relevant tools and procedures.
Engage in specific project work as defined by the Business.
