Operational Development Co-ordinator   Cheshire     to £32k doe
 

To manage and provide resource for change work as required including client implementations, projects and internal process and procedural changes.

To oversee the achievement of the Team’s focus, through the allocation of appropriate resources, monitoring progress against project targets, developing client relationships and by day-to-day co-ordination of team personnel and other resources seconded or allocated to work on particular projects.

The role is key to the analysis and delivery of improvements to processes and systems across the business.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Co-ordinate the Operational Development Team staff and workload.
• Develop and support staff ensuring timely and constructive feedback is given
• Maintain plans for continuous training and development for team members ensuring they have the skills, knowledge and technical expertise to perform their roles to a high standard
• Plan, prioritise monitor and control team workflow, ensuring department procedures are followed to minimise financial risk to the business
• Ensure that appropriate checking levels are in place and competent individuals execute and check work
• Forecast short and long-term future work volumes for budget and resource planning purposes
• Provide management statistics as requested and on time

2. Ensure all work requests from other departments/teams are complete and necessary.

3. Work closely with other departments/teams and clients throughout the life cycle of projects/tasks undertaken by the team.

4. Complete reviews and instigate regular evaluation of existing and new procedures used within the Operational Development team.

5. Perform other tasks as directed by the Head of Service Development

6. Identify chargeable work and ensure it is correctly logged.

Candidate Requirements;
• Experience of co-ordinating large volumes of work.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• Solid logical reasoning skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
