Our client provides professional independent trustee services to a wide variety of final salary, defined contribution and hybrid schemes.
The role is also to provide other relevant related services to pension scheme trustees including interim pension management placements and secretarial services.

The candidate must have a very strong understanding of both technical and non-technical aspects ofrunning trustee appointments.
The candidate will work with both directors and support staff and be required to ensure that clients have professional representation on the trustee board.
- Essential skills include;
- Knowledge and ability to manage a portfolio of pension scheme trustee appointments.
- Ability to train and manage support staff to a high technical standard is essential for this role.
- Ability to understand and apply complex legislation.
- Sound grasp of English grammar commensurate with formal business reports in a professional advisory capacity.
- High level of presentation skills e.g. able to present at just below board level within an organisation.
- Clear understanding of trustee obligations.
Candidates should ideally be PMI qualified and as a minimum will be required to pass the PMI Award in Pension Trusteeship.
