Our client currently seeks to recruit an outstanding IT professional, educated to degree level or equivalent with good A-levels, to join the Development team based in Guildford.

Candidates must have strong development skills, able to demonstrate the following personal attributes:

• Ability in a mathematical or technical discipline;
• Analytical approach to problem solving;
• Proactive – able to plan in advance and anticipate requirements;
• Able to work to deadlines;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In addition to the above personal attributes, they are looking for solid experience of a number of the following areas:

• Microsoft development technologies and environments (particularly VB.NET, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server);
• SQL Server (particularly T-SQL, stored procedures and database design);
• Object Oriented Programming;
• Knowledge of structured development methodologies;
• Experience of working within the pensions industry;
