Pensions Technical Manager     Leatherhead         £doe
 

Working closely with colleagues to support the business by researching and providing appropriate answers and solutions where required

Key Tasks:

  • Proactively identifying and communicating technical issues and areas potentially requiring change
  • Researching new legislative and regulatory market developments and designing and recommending best practice solutions to implement them
  • Providing technical advice:
    1. for projects including implementation of new clients and changes for existing clients; and
    2. for staff, senior management, clients and other third parties
  • Supporting the introduction and adoption of new procedures through documentation and training
  • Identifying and providing technical training and training materials as required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of researching technical matters
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of DB, DC and hybrid schemes
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to provide effective solutions
  • Project managment skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • APMI qualified or equivalent desirable but not essential
  • Client focused
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
